​Welcome to Caterpillars and Dragonflies

Welcome to the Spring term! 

We hope you have all had a ​great first term and Christmas break and are well-rested ready for an exciting term.

This term our topic is ​All Around the World and we will be looking at different places around the world.  Our two main books will be Meerkat Mail and Giraffes can’t Dance. In Science we will be finding out about living things, different animals and their habitats.  We will be using this to help us write fact sheets about different animals and create our own animal stories. We will also be thinking about The Environment include reuse, reduce, recycle.

The children should be reading and spellings each evening.  New reading books will be given out every Wednesday and Friday.  Each Monday, new spellings will be put on Seesaw.  Maths homework will be set on Seesaw each Thursday.

We are excited to get started on our new learning.
