Dear Parents

Welcome back after a fun-filled Christmas!

We hope that you had a lovely, restful holiday!

It is hard to believe that over this coming term, the days will start to get lighter as we head towards the summer term. During this term, we will be going on an adventure around the globe as we join James and his Giant Peach. As part of our topic on James and The Giant Peach, we will be asking the children to design and create a mini-world in a shoe-box. Please can you send your child into school with a shoe- box by January 15th 2021. They

We begin the term with Writing Week where Robins and Owls will be looking at the effects of pollution in our oceans. Later in the term, we hope to be visiting the local area and making comparisons with the wider world.

To finish the spring term, we will be celebrating Easter.

The Year 3 staff hope that you have a great New Year and we look forward to working with you this term.
