    The children could come to school in an item of red, or their brownie and cub uniforms. There was a Remembrance day webinar, and the children all had the opportunity to purchase poppies and other items from The Royal British Legion. We raised a staggering £520, an amazing total -  a big thank you to everyone.

  • World mental health day

    On Friday 8th October we celebrated World Mental Health Day by joining in with Young Minds’ #hello yellow day. Everyone was encouraged to wear some yellow on the day to raise awareness and remind young people that they are not alone with their mental health.

    We all had a great day and all the yellow made us smile, as yellow seems such a cheerful colour!

    We got involved in different activities during the day, including Bollywood dance workshops for Years 1 to 3 and also a ‘positive post-it’ activity—where we all wrote positive things or things we were grateful for on a yellow post-it. We have displayed many of these in school!
