Year 5 took part in an exciting Viking day on Friday 22^nd April. We made and ate Viking bread, decorated and inscribed clay coins with Viking runes, created cardboard swords and shields and some children built paper long boats.

The children also enjoyed an immersive Viking story using the press play headsets, played Capture the flag games on the field to simulate an invasion and took part in a Fire pit experience with toasted marshmallows, yum!
